PERMANENT | Tyrue "Slang" Jones Solo Exhibition

Tyrue Slang Jones has combined 30 years of dedication to the development and techniques of graffiti, figure drawing and traditional animation. He brings to life the living city with the canvas and board pieces inspired by the storyscape of an urban existence. The work communicates an evolving narrative that exhibits a natural, free spirited, and whimsical approach to it. "I like to think of the process as giving birth/creation to something permanent".Jones' is producing at a creative and expressive level that continues to show his dominance through animated media outlets and the walls of some of Chicago's coolest spaces such as Emporium "Beercade." With the solo exhibition "PERMANENT" Slang presents the commitment to a line and how the connection with his work communicates a story in the most simple way through Muted details, exaggerating ideals and presenting a more RAW art.
